A few weeks ago David wrote about the importance of making decisions around the company you keep, and talked about the decision-making process Education Elements uses to select partners for our platform. Today we are excited to announce our partner catalog for Back to School 2014 (see our press release below), confident that our ecosystem continues to provide students and teachers with access to the best of the best. Please reach out to us if you want to learn more about how we select the content that becomes part of our ecosystem and / or how we select the content that becomes part of a school or district's personalized learning portfolio.

Education Elements’ catalog of digital content partners continues to grow

San Carlos, CA: Education Elements, the leading provider of software and services for district-wide personalized learning initiatives, announced its integrated partner catalog for the 2014/15 school year. New partners include industry-leading educational products from Curriculet, Imagine Learning, McGraw HIll, Scantron and STEMscopes. The catalog builds upon a strong portfolio of integrated partners and increases the number of digital content and application options available to districts and educators.

"Districts have a growing need for vendors who develop and implement effective, student-centered and data-driven personalized learning strategies. Education Elements is unique in meeting this need, and high fidelity implementation of quality digital content like Imagine Learning is at the core of their strategy", said Derrin Hill, CSO and co-founder of Imagine Learning. "We are very excited to be part of a platform ecosystem which goes beyond basic SIS integration and helps integrate digital content with classroom practice using data."

Education Elements’ platform provides students and teachers with a single entry point to digital content and to the detailed data they need to guide teaching and learning. This innovative cloud service helps integrate data-driven decision-making with classroom practice to improve fidelity of implementation through the following key features:
• Single Sign-on provides students, teachers and administrators easy access to digital content and applications used in daily instruction.
• Automated Account Provisioning across integrated products helps ensure that students are presented with the right content and that teachers and administrators see an integrated picture of results across digital content.
• Data integration offers context, insights, and recommended actions as part of a complete picture of student activity and performance data from multiple products

Education Elements’ curated partner catalog features select digital content and application products that demonstrate a robust and research-based pedagogy and a rigorous curriculum and enable a high degree of personalization. Collectively, these products offer core and supplemental curricula across reading, math, ELA, science, writing, and social studies, and include a variety of lesson planning and classroom management applications.

“We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with Education Elements,” said Rob Waldron, CEO of Curriculum Associates. “They have been an invaluable strategic partner at a number of our most successful schools, and we believe that our shared interest in making meaningful gains for children will continue to create positive classroom environments that support effective implementations for our personalized learning solutions.”

As part of its rigorous vetting process, the Education Elements content analysis team, which includes a number of deeply skilled former teachers, thoroughly researches each partner. The team uses a detailed rubric that considers aspects such as pedagogical approach, depth of learning, user interface, and data integrity. This information is also used to make recommendations for clients based on the needs of their students, teachers and educational program.

“As school districts across the country develop personalized learning strategies and increasingly focus on equality of access across their schools, an open platform that integrates a broad array of high-quality digital content and applications is essential. We are extremely proud of the catalog of partners we are building and the detailed experience and relationships we are developing as we help schools implement with fidelity across the country.”, said David Sanchez, VP of Product & Partnerships for Education Elements.
