The 7Cs Student Perception Survey is used by schools and districts to track elements of teacher effectiveness at the classroom level through student voice. By targeting the elements of effective teaching, through the 7Cs Framework, schools and districts can improve teaching and instruction as well as student achievement. Research valid and reliable results are provided directly to teachers as well as at the school, district, and state level. You can use results for teacher evaluation, to inform professional development, coaching, teacher reflection protocols, and more.
The Tripod DEI student survey is designed to capture student perceptions of diversity, equity and inclusion in their school. Specifically, the survey measures students’ perceptions of: 1) school commitment to DEI, 2) school climate in general and specific to DEI, 3) integration of DEI into classroom and co-curricular activities, 4) everyday discrimination, and 5) meaningful interactions between social identity groups. Data can help inform school or district wide DEI improvement initiatives or strategic planning. School and district administrators are able to disaggregate data and results by social identities and target improvement.
Tripod’s Social and Emotional Competency Survey for Students (SEL-C) enables educators and school leaders to assess and monitor students’ social and emotional strengths and weaknesses. It is aligned with the CASEL framework and captures the CASEL domains more thoroughly than other surveys. The SEL-C is divided into a set of core measures that are administered universally and a set of optional measures districts can select from to create custom surveys meeting their district or school’s unique needs and interests. Data is collected at the student level which allows schools and districts to track individual students’ social and emotional competencies and compare it to the aggregate of their class, school and district. This provides schools and districts the data to inform specific interventions and improve each student’s educational experience.
Tripod’s SEL Environment Survey for Students (SEL-E) collects student perceptions of the classroom and school environment. Results can help educators and school leaders identify opportunities to enhance students’ SEL, inform improvements to the SEL curriculum, and monitor changes to the SEL environment over time.
