About LASO Cycle 4

About LASO 4

The next phase of TEA’s statewide improvement strategy, LASO 4, builds on the momentum of previous cycles to strengthen leadership, align instruction, and scale implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) across Texas.

At the heart of LASO 4 is the LIFT Program, Leadership & Instructional Foundations for Texas.

LIFT is a three-year initiative focused on helping districts:

  • Build strong instructional foundations and leader capacity.
  • Align HQIM adoption and implementation with district systems.
  • Sustain high-quality teaching practices beyond the grant period.

LIFT is more than a grant; it’s a pathway to coherence and sustainability. From planning through implementation, Education Elements partner with districts to move from compliance to clarity, ensuring that every system supports great instruction in every classroom.
