What is LIFT?
Literacy Foundations Interventional Toolkit (LIFT) was designed to help teachers pinpoint specific gaps in foundational skills for upper elementary students, and beyond.

How LIFT helps teachers
- Identify any gaps in foundational skills and provide students with explicit instruction focused specifically on those gaps
- Provide ongoing, systematic, and explicit instruction in foundational skills, targeted to each student’s individual needs.
- In identifying which gaps in code-knowledge may be preventing students from reading with sufficient fluency to support comprehension, using a code-knowledge diagnostic.
- By providing a phonemic and phonological awareness screener for students with significant gaps in code-knowledge.
- Education Elements offers a full range of printed materials to support the LIFT program. We offer the LIFT student recording packet and the LIFT administration materials.
