Personalized Learning Summit to Gather More than 750 District Leaders in San Francisco

Ed Elements in the News  |  Press Release

Education Elements is hosting its 4th annual Personalized Learning Summit for district leaders from May 2–4, 2018 in San Francisco, CA. The Summit hosts hundreds of district leaders from all over the country to learn from industry veterans, exchange ideas with peers, and experience cutting edge technology at some of Silicon Valley’s biggest tech companies.

Summit attendees will learn about innovation in leadership, teaching, and learning from one of the keynote speakers, George Couros, author of the book, “The Innovator’s Mindset; Empower Learning, Unleash Talent and Lead a Culture of Creativity.”

As in previous years, attendees will tour tech companies to learn how they manage projects at a large scale, how they innovate around employee management and training, and what the workplaces of the future look like for the students who will be joining them. In the past, tours were conducted at companies such as Airbnb, IDEO, Google, Lyft, Salesforce, and Twitter. Next year’s tech company tours will be announced on the conference website.

With keynote talks, roundtable discussions, and workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to build personalized agendas over the course of the three days, including social networking events to build connections across districts at various stages of the personalized learning journey. Education Elements is also accepting applications from district leaders to facilitate roundtable discussions on their choice of topics.

Registration for the Summit opens today, and attendees can register here, and follow along and join in the conversation by following #plsummit and @edelements on Twitter.
