Educators blend technology with unique instruction methods

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

Educators from across the state joined together for a training that blends technology with unique instruction methods.

“We’re so used to the teacher maybe being at the front of the room when we were in school and everyone learning the same thing. But how can we rethink the way that the teacher is teaching,” said Megan Huneck, from Education Elements.

Through new technological innovation, students can learn at their own pace through blended learning strategies.

“Teachers don’t have to teach just one way. They can actually multiply themselves because they can set up different learning modules at different places,” said Huneck.

Trainers say they want to use technology to enhance instruction, improve relationships and allow students to take control of their own learning.

Dozens of educators from across the state were in attendance.

The event was hosted by Temple ISD, Education Elements and Google Education for Texas.
