The Minnesota Personalized Learning Academy will take place virtually on August 5. This one-day virtual event of professional development is designed for district leaders at all stages of their personalized learning implementation.
We believe that in order to create more responsive classrooms that foster ownership over learning, we must model and support all learners to be innovators themselves.
Personalized learning is a key lever to increase equity. We will take district leaders who attend through a series of experiences that would help them deepen their knowledge of PL practices, build an understanding of collective identification, relationships, voice and choice, and system design. They will leave with action steps that would help them forward this work in their districts. For district leaders just starting their journey, the academy will help to provide clarity on priorities. For district leaders who have been moving towards personalized learning for several years, the academy will help to provide guidance around what to do next.
Participants will experience professional development, best suited for district leaders, facilitated by experts who have guided national and local personalized learning implementations. We encourage people to attend in teams of 2-6 people in order to collaborate and generate ideas within your team.
