The Foundational Five
There are a number of factors that lead to better outcomes for students, among them, are several key instructional practices that build student ownership of learning and improve student outcomes. These key teacher-led instructional practices can be grouped into five foundational areas. Together, these practices build agency, self actualization, and lifelong learners, and we refer to them as The Foundational Five.
