What should I expect?

The Flexible Learning Conference runs for two hours and is a mix of a keynote speaker, content videos, reflection time, and small group discussions.

Who should attend?

This conference is best for school and district leaders who support Teaching and Learning, Technology, Curriculum, and those leading the important work of making districts more equitable. All participants will be provided with a certificate of participation after the event.

Pathways: Prior to the event, you will select one pathway. The ideas, strategies and discussion you engage in will be aligned to this pathway. Preview the three pathways of Data Culture, Strategic Planning, and Restarting School below.

1. Data Culture:

  • User-centered Data Displays: Learn how to share information with end-users (students, families, and teachers) in ways that demystifies and democratizes data.
  • Do This Before You Invest Another Dollar in Data: Learn how to establish a shared vision and purpose for using data across your district that can serve as a roadmap, not a manual.

2. Strategic Planning:

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communicating Your Plan: Learn to adapt how to communicate with all stakeholders and create a plan to move forward
  • Progress Monitoring: Learn how data is critical to executing your strategy. Shelby McIntosh shares how to use the right indicators to measure the progress of your strategic plan.

3. Restarting School

  • Supporting the Whole Child in Tomorrow's Schools: Learn how to understand and stay in tune with what your students need, across academic and SEL, and in each learning environment and why we must maintain an array of learning models
  • Supporting Trauma: Raise awareness of and help educators see what Trauma looks like and why it matters

Regardless of the pathway you choose, you will have access to all of the materials after the event.
