Lift Every Voice: Leading and Teaching Through The Pandemics

 

The Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators presents a virtual mini conference focused on preparing leaders, teachers and parents to respond to the academic and emotional needs of all stakeholders.

This event will kick off with a guest entertainer and keynote speaker followed by two breakout sessions. And, guest speaker, Dr. Michael McFarland, Superintendent of Crowley ISD, will close out the event with a special presentation. 

The breakout sessions will focus on ways to be mindful and aware of how students are feeling as they return to school. Get a deep dive on how to use specific tech platforms and tools and discover SEL tips and resources for students and self-care tips for teachers!
